This 36-month rotational program is designed for graduate students enrolled in full-time MBA programs, preparing them for leadership roles within Ford’s Strategy & Planning Organization.
As a participant in SPLP, you will complete four rotational assignments that build expertise in both engineering and business, equipping you with the skills needed for your first off-program assignment. From day one, you’ll engage with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, finance, technology, design, and manufacturing specialists, to deliver critical projects that enhance profitability and drive innovation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and applying global product strategies to maximize profitability.
- Creating technology strategies for interactive experiences.
- Leading cross-functional teams to execute program direction and deliver critical projects.
- Engaging in various assignment areas such as Product Strategy, Technology Strategy, Sustainability, Mobility Strategy, Cycle Planning, Business Operations, and Global Product Planning.
- Presenting your work to senior Ford management and leadership.
- Receiving career guidance from a management mentor and networking with industry professionals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a graduate student enrolled in a full-time MBA program, with eligibility to work full-time before October 2025.
- A minimum of 2 years of business or engineering experience.
- Ability to think critically and navigate ambiguity with intellectual curiosity.
- Passion for mobility product strategy.
- Preferred Attributes:
- 3+ years of experience in fields such as business, strategy, marketing, engineering, product design, finance, economics, data analytics, or related areas.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, employment, or internships.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
