The EU Youth Empowerment Fund, in collaboration with Global Youth Mobilization (GYM), represents a powerful partnership between the European Commission and the Big Six Youth Organizations. This initiative is dedicated to empowering young people worldwide to drive meaningful change and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the heart of this mission is the role of the Youth-Led Advocacy and Partnerships Coordinator, a pivotal position that will guide the development and execution of youth-led advocacy strategies and foster vital partnerships.
About the Role
As the Youth-Led Advocacy and Partnerships Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the Project Coordination Team (PCT), working alongside representatives from the Big Six Youth Organizations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
•Leading efforts to expand youth-led advocacy initiatives.
•Developing and nurturing strategic partnerships that ensure the sustainability of the GYM initiative.
•Shaping and implementing the GYM’s youth-led advocacy strategy, influencing how young people globally engage with pressing issues.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a global movement, driving impactful changes on a worldwide scale.
Qualifications and Experience
This role is ideal for individuals with:
•3–5 years of experience in non-profits, youth development, international development, or related fields.
•A strong background in non-formal education, learning, and grant-making initiatives.
•Demonstrable experience in creating and executing advocacy strategies, campaigns, and partnerships aimed at social impact.
Additionally, candidates should be:
•Flexible with working hours to accommodate a globally dispersed team.
•Collaborative in nature, ready to work closely with designated leads from across the Big Six youth organizations.
