FREE Digital Skills Training Opportunity with RefuSHE – August 2024 Intake (For Kenyans)

RefuSHE is excited to announce a new opportunity for young women between the ages of 18 and 24 to join our Digital Skills Program. This six-month, hands-on digital freelance training is designed to equip participants with valuable skills for generating income in the digital economy. We are looking for both refugee and Kenyan young women to apply for this transformative program. With only 30 slots available, this is a unique chance to enhance your digital abilities and improve your future prospects.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this program, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Basic Computer Skills: You should have a foundational understanding of computer operations.
  • Interest in Digital Freelancing: A keen interest in learning digital freelancing skills is essential.
  • Education: You must be a Form Four leaver with a KCSE certificate or result slip.
  • Proof of Identity: Urban refugees must provide proof of registration, such as a refugee certificate or ID. Kenyan applicants need to have a Kenyan National ID.
  • Commitment: You should be ready to commit to the entire six-month training program.
  • Residency: Applicants must reside in Kawangware or surrounding areas, including Kibera, Kabiria, Amboseli, Waithaka, Riruta, and Kangemi.
