Internships at the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA)

The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is accepting internship applications. Internship applications are open all year round. IACA accepts a limited number of interns every year.

The Internship Programme is designed for students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD (or equivalent) university programmes and recent graduates wishing to develop and broaden their professional skills and gain working experience in an international environment.

Program Overview

Who Can Apply?

  • Students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs
  • Recent graduates (within one year of graduation)
  • Candidates from diverse fields such as social and political sciences, law, economics, finance, journalism, marketing, IT, business administration, and international relations

Internship Areas:

  • External Relations and Strategic Partnerships
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Law
  • Capacity Building and Educational Activities
  • IT
  • Finance
  • Human Resources

Duration:

  • Full-time for 3 to 6 months
  • Exceptional cases for internships shorter than 3 months

Location:

  • IACA campus in Laxenburg, Austria

Eligibility Criteria

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
  • Enrollment Status: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized university program
  • Skills: Adaptability to a multicultural environment, teamwork, independence, discretion, reliability, precision, honesty, and integrity

Visa and Expenses

  • Visa: Interns must obtain their own visas and comply with local residency laws.
  • Expenses: Internships are unpaid. Interns cover travel, accommodation, health insurance, and living expenses. A monthly stipend is provided for local transportation.
