The Geneva Graduate Institute invites policy and practice partners to apply for the opportunity to have first-year Masters students conduct Applied Research Projects (ARPs) on their behalf. These projects focus on issues related to international development and international relations.

Application Deadline: 31 July 2024

Project Duration: Early October 2024 to mid-May 2025

Overview

Applied Research Projects (ARPs) are a key element of the MINT program, offering students the chance to apply their analytical and research skills to practical, policy-relevant issues. Through ARPs, students work in small groups under the supervision of Graduate Institute faculty to deliver high-quality research for partner organizations.

Student Responsibilities:

The ARP process emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, professionalism, effective communication, and problem-solving.

Partner Organizations

Organizations addressing global issues are invited to sponsor an ARP. Partners are expected to guide and support students, ensuring the research is both policy-relevant and practical.

Application Process:

  1. Submit the ARP Partner Application Form by 31 July 2024.
  2. Screening and Selection:
    • Successful applicants will be contacted by mid-September 2024.
    • Selected organizations must adhere to the Geneva Graduate Institute’s Code of Conduct and sign a partnership agreement.
