The re:constitution Fellowships aim to bridge the gap between academia and practical application by fostering pan-European mobility, debate, and networking. By nurturing a community of scholars and practitioners, the program strives to fortify the common ground for democratic principles and the rule of law in the European Union and its neighboring regions.
Key Details:
- Application Deadline: April 3, 2024, 12:00 noon CEST.
- Stipend: €2,500 per month during mobility periods from October 2024 to July 2025.
- Tracks: Two tracks available to accommodate diverse professional requirements and personal circumstances.
Track 1 – Full Time:
- 10 Fellowships available.
- Mobility period of 6 months between October 2024 and July 2025.
- Research stays at two host institutions in EU/non-EU EEA/EU candidate countries/UK or CH.
- Stipend covers the mobility phase.
- Mandatory participation in Fellows’ Exchange Meetings and Online Fellow Talks series.
Track 2 – Shorter mobility period with part-time option:
- 5 Fellowships available.
- Mobility period of 3 months full-time (or 6 months part-time) between October 2024 and July 2025.
- Research stay at one host institution.
- Stipend covers the mobility phase.
- Participation in Fellows’ Exchange Meetings and Online Fellow Talks series.
Eligibility:
- Open to residents in European Union, non-EU EEA countries, EU candidate countries, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
- Scholars holding a PhD or practitioners in various fields related to democracy and the rule of law in Europe.
