The Public Policy New Voices Program is a groundbreaking initiative forged through collaboration among leading public policy graduate schools, corporate public policy teams, and innovative global strategic advisory firms. The program is dedicated to addressing the systemic challenges faced by early-career, underrepresented people of color in the public policy field. PPNV aims to engage graduate students of color while dismantling the structural barriers that hinder full representation and participation in policy-focused careers.

Eligibility

The fellowship is open to public policy graduate students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) and are U.S. citizens, U.S. residents, or DACA recipients. This encompasses a broad range of backgrounds, including Black students from the African diaspora, students with tribal citizenship, Latino/Latina students, and students of Asian American and Pacific Islander descent.

Upon completion, participants will submit a reflection paper to inform the program’s evolution and maintain its responsiveness to the needs and interests of Fellows over time.

Selected applicants will be invited for virtual interviews on a rolling basis within three weeks of submitting their application. The application window closes on January 5, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET or when all 40 Fellow spots have been filled—whichever comes first.
